Driver witnesses a flaming truck just over Snoqualmie Pass.

Truck catches fire

Just over Snoqualmie Pass a truck was on fire. The DOT was waving cars through before police and fire trucks were on the scene. Luckily we made it through the plumes of smoke before the ten mile backup. We drove through the black smoke and could feel the heat through our vehicle.

We were in the car. It was pretty scary when we lost the brakes and all power and had to hit the empty sand buckets to slow down.
