Take advantage of Seattle Art Museum’s free outdoors events throughout July and August at Olympic Sculpture Park:

Thursdays at the Park: Thursdays, 5:30-8 p.m., July 12-August 30
Take in summer evenings with yummy bites from some of Seattle's best food trucks paired with wines provided by TASTE Restaurant. Hear live music by the area's most talented performers. Learn about the new temporary and permanent art works in the park. Watch the sunset against the dramatic backdrop of the Olympic Mountains. Summer nights in Seattle have never been so special!

SAM performs: Thursdays, 5:30-7:30 p.m., July 12-August 23
Experience live performances by some of Seattle's hottest musicians. The ever popular Art of Jazz with Earshot Jazz on the second Thursday of the month continues at the Olympic Sculpture Park, plus other exciting performances throughout the summer. The lineup will highlight beats from around the world, including Brazilian, Afro-Cuban and indie surf pop.

Dancing ‘til Dusk: Thursday, August 30, 6-9 p.m

Bring your dancing shoes and experience social dancing with a live band, a real dance floor and free, professional dance lessons, featuring the waltz and the Ball Blanc, with music by KGB.

Art hits Tours: Thursdays, 6:30 p.m., July 12-August 30

Between musical sets on Thursday nights this summer, learn about the Olympic Sculpture Park's art and site through these 15 minute "art hits" presented by artists, seattle cultural leaders and museum staff. Meet inside the PACCAR Pavilion.

Drop in and get creative with a hands-on art activity for all ages led by local artists each Thursdsay during GET Out Summer at SAM!

Saturday Sketches: Saturdays, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., July 14-August 25

Join some of Seattle's favorite contemporary artists for all ages, drop-in sketching activities inspired by the Olympic Sculpture Park. Drawing materials provided.

Inspired by the Thursday evening art activities and Saturday Sketches with local artists, get creative on your own. Capture the sculptures, plant life and beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains and the Puget Sound through self-guided drawing each Saturday. Drawing materials provided.

Yoga: Saturdays, 10:30–11:30 a.m., July 14-August 25

Enjoy free outdoor yoga with fantastic instructors from 8 Limbs Yoga. Bring your own mat, water and any needed supplies. Rain or shine! Class will be held inside in case of inclement weather. FREE

Zumba: Saturdays, 2-3 p.m., July 14-August 25
Fusing Latin rhythms with easy to follow moves, free Zumba® Latin dance-fitness lessons with instructors from Belltown Dance Studio are a great way to spend the afternoon at the Olympic Sculpture Park. Tennis shoes and water bottle recommended. Rain or shine! Class will be held inside in case of inclement weather. FREE

SAM creates Foraging for Images Sketch Workshop: Saturday, July 28, 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Learn outdoor sketching techniques in this workshop for adults that tours the edible plants in Olympic Sculpture Park.

Tours: Saturdays and Sundays, Noon and 1 p.m.

Explore the Olympic Sculpture Park's dynamic spaces, learning about the design and layout of the park, the site history from the Duwamish to Unocal, selected sculptures and more. Bring your walking shoes for this 60-minute adventure!

Salmon return family festival: Saturday, September 8, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
