Pitbull, Katy Perry top the iTunes chart for 2014's first week

Technically, Pitbull and Ke$ha have the biggest-selling iTunes single of 2014 -- but don't be surprised if Katy Perry pulls ahead with "Dark Horse" as the year goes on. 

Following the release of the sultry video for "Timber," Pitbull and Ke$ha, who collaborated on the song, have enjoyed big success on the charts -- which likely made it all the more difficult for Ke$ha to step back from the spotlight for a month and seek help for an eating disorder last weekend. 

Other chart-toppers of the week include OneRepublic, Christina Aguilera, and 2014's teen queen, Lorde.
