Two primetime televised events were initially slated for February of 2014, but it's the Acamdemy Awards that's getting the silver medal slot -- due to the Winter Olympics, the Oscars are getting bumped to March.

The move may actually be a good thing for the Academy, who frequently feel a time-crunch as voting occurs just after the holiday season. The longer voting period will also allow films that come out late in 2013 to be included in the voting. The Golden Globes, however, will remain in January.

February 2014 going to be a big month in television even without the awards show; the Olympics will kick off the weekend after the Feb. 2 Superbowl.
