NBC's singing contest "The Voice" is doing so well in ratings, the network's executives are trying to figure out how to mimic its success -- by adding children to the mix!
According to the New York Post, NBC is seriously considering a "Voice" spin-off that would cast children aged eight to 14. The network has already announced multiple casting calls, though the show is far from a sure thing.
The idea isn't new -- "The Voice Kids" is a popular program abroad -- but it would offer something slightly different in a sea of competition shows that are regularly duking it out for ratings.
