America is rapidly falling in love with the beautiful Jennifer Lawrence -- but it's not just because of the 22-year-old's good looks. Her personality on and off the red carpet is what's really winning people over, and her stumble last night is no exception.

Lawrence, who received the award for Best Actress for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook," tripped over her Dior gown's sizable skirt as she ascended the stairs to accept the statue. And while other celebs may have taken the fall to heart, Lawrence brushed it off with her usual good nature.

"You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell," she laughed, and admitted that "that's really embarrassing."

That wasn't Lawrence's only endearing moment. Earlier in the night, the jovial actress was bleeped as she joked with red carpet correspondent Kristin Chenoweth over their mutual love of "Dance Moms," a reality TV show. She also told reporters after the event that, to prepare for the night, she "did a shot.

When a reporter asked her what happened (regarding the fall) she replied "What do you mean what happened? Look at this dress!"

Lawrence is the second youngest person to win Best Actress.
