It's hard to believe, but it's time to send Leonard into flight once again, in honor of those who have battled breast cancer. And you can help!
Help Leonard (from the Kent and Alan Morning Show, of course) encourage our listeners to get their mammograms in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Leonard needs your bras to help him take flight on Monday morning, September 30th (weather permitting) for Bras Across Lake Washington, presented by Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
SCCA is a world-class cancer center that unites doctors from Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, UW Medicine, and Seattle Children's.
You can donate your new or gently-used bra any time at:
- Fisher Plaza (140 4th Ave N, Seattle, 98109)
- Robbins Brothers in Bellevue (10429 NE 2nd Street)
- Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (825 Eastlake Avenue East)
Or, you can join Jen and Leonard for a free 8 ounce drip coffee and doughnut of your choice with a bra donation on Wednesday, 9/18 from 7:AM – 9:AM at the Top Pot locations in Issaquah (1235 Maple Street) or Mill Creek (Inside the University Book Store at 15311 Main St).
After the flight, the bras will be donated to the YWCA of Seattle.
Let's send Leonard into the air -- and help create a healthier community, with Pier 66 Parasailing, SCCA, Robbins Brothers, and Top Pot.
