After months of speculation and rumor, fans of "TGIF" are finally going to get what they've been waiting for -- a "Boy Meets World" reunion/spin-off. Today, Disney officially picked up the show, called "Girl Meets World."

E! Online reports that creator Mark Jacobs said in a statement today that the Disney Channel had agreed to air the new program, which features many of the cast-members of the original show. Production is slated to begin this summer, and producers are aiming for a 2014 debut, according to E!.

"Boy Meets World and its story of adolescent self discovery resonated with an entire generation of tweens," said Disney Channel Executive Vice President, Original Programming Adam Bonnett, "In the same way audiences fell in love with Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence, we look forward to introducing our viewers to their daughter Riley Matthews in Girl Meets World."

There's no word on whether or not a refreshed version of "Two Guys, A Girl, and a Pizza Place" will be joining the lineup.
