Singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw took the STAR Stage on Wednesday to a crowd of STAR listeners. Guitarist Billy Norris joined DeGraw in a private acoustic set of hits including “Chariot,” “I Don’t Want to Be,” and his latest single “Not Over You.”

DeGraw’s next album, Sweeter, is set to release August 9. The album’s first single “Not Over You” was co-written and produced by OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder.

STAR listeners also had a chance between each song to ask DeGraw’s questions, of which included answers about his first live show at a camp when he was young and people mistaking his name for county singer Tim McGraw. DeGraw answered the questions with humor and sarcasm, making the audience laugh and enjoy the show even more.

“Before my first single ever actually even dropped I came here (to Seattle), so I have a lot of history here," DeGraw said. "I built the Space Needle. Yeah, that was me. So, you’re welcome, really.”
