Wednesday mornings at 8:20a, Kent and Alan team up with Regional Animal Services of King County, the Seattle Animal Shelter and Petfinder.com to present the STAR 101.5 Pet Of The Week.

These are some of the pets who need loving homes:

GREY BEARD
Hi, my name is "GREY BEARD" but everyone calls me Greybers. I am 12 years young, with oodles, and I mean oodles, of love and affection to give you!  I hear the volunteers and officers refer to me as a "character" and a "sweetheart" and "one in a million." My previous owners moved out of our apartment and left me alone to fend for myself. A kind person found me and took me to the Regional Animal Services of King County so I would have a chance of finding a new, loving home. I LOVE to be petted and have my ears rubbed. In fact, the more you pet me and rub my chin, the more my tongue sticks out. (It makes the volunteers and staff smile and giggle.) When you stop petting me I will lick your hand or arm to let you know we are not done. It's that easy!  Since I am considered a senior kitty (that means dignified), it is best that I am in a home that is relatively quiet with no small children. I am content, safe and will live longer as an indoor-only cat.  Listen to Grey Beard on STAR 101.5. 

BETTY

 LUCKY

CHLOE
Chloe is a curious pit bull terrier mix who loves to explore. She is good on a leash and loves going for walks. When she arrived at the shelter (a stray without identification), she had some wounds the vet staff has given her some stitches for, so that's why she has some shaved spots on her body. She can be a little stand-offish around new people, but once she decides you're a good person, she'll love a pat on the head or scratch behind the ears. Listen to Chloe on STAR 101.5.

FIONA
Fiona is a 3-year-old beautiful little princess who likes to be spoiled and pampered. She is really sweet and loving and always enjoy a good conversation. She likes other cats and dogs. She loves to play around the house, be brushed and sit up high on her kitty perch (her throne). She enjoys the finer things in life like catnip, toys, laser light, soft food and of course treats.
