Make way for Florence + The Machine

On the heels of the November release of the stunning Ceremonials CD, one of 2011's most critically acclaimed albums, Florence + The Machine  are heading back to the states for the second leg of their tour, which was announced today by her record label Universal Republic.

With recent appearances on Saturday Night Live, GMA, X-Factor, The View, VH1 Divas and Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Years Eve, Florence fans will get to enjoy the star in a triumphant return to the live stage. Florence + The Machine are expected to perform songs from CEREMONIALS as well as songs from her multi-platinum debut album LUNGS.

Florence + The Machine will also be appearing on an upcoming MTV Unplugged in March.
Her April/May tour follows her last appearance in the US, which included sold out dates at Summerstage and the Greek in LA as well as the Bonnaroo Music Festival and four stadium shows with U2.

Nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist and an MTV Video of the Year Award with unforgettable performances on 2010’s MTV Video Music Awards, the Grammys and the Academy Awards, Florence Welch is poised to cast her spell as she dances across US concert stages.

Blood Orange will be opening on all April/May dates except Coachella and New Orleans. The Walkmen will be opening on all July/August dates.
