The annual anime convention Sakura-Con kicked off day one of their weekend residence in downtown Seattle this morning. Upwards of 50,000 people attend Sakura-Con every year.

On Thursday, April 17th, 2014 at 11:00am, STAR 101.5 SURPRISED Hazelwood Elementary teacher, Ms. Sandra Ferguson, and presented her with the STAR 101.5 Elementary Teacher of the Week award.  In a local contest conducted by STAR 101.5 radio, Ms. Ferguson, a 3rd grade teacher, was nominated by her student, Lauren Kwartin. Airlines always offer you some sort of compensation when they involuntarily bump you from your flight. But travel experts say in most cases what you get- is nowhere near what you're entitled to.
